Twilight in the Garden

Twilight, or that time just before the sun sets, is one of my favorite times to photograph families. There is a beautiful glow in the sky, children are fed and rested, and a calm sets in. I spent last week in the DC metro area photographing several families. I had so much fun with these sisters and their parents. I met their mom when we were flying up to New Hampshire several years ago; we stayed in touch and became good friends. I’ve posted some sneak peeks here, showing the different ways I photograph families ~ all together, just the siblings, pets, and individual portraits. Also, every photo is available in my warm-toned black and white.  I travel to the DC area for photo sessions several times a year, and will be returning in early October for another round of photo sessions.
